Independent feature film produced internationally or domestically focusing on fiction and nonfiction storytelling. All genres acceptable. All filmmakers submitting must be between the ages of 17 to 22. Film runtime from 50 minutes to 130 minutes.

Final budget must have been USD $200K or less and the film must have been completed no earlier than January 1, 2010 and no later than December 31, 2021. Films that have received distribution through a sales agent of distributor do not qualify. However, self-distribution and releasing via aggregator meets eligibility criteria.

Short film must have been completed no earlier than January 1, 2000 and no later than December 31, 2021. The film must have been made for under $100K.
